In France virtually everyone knows the man with the falsetto voice. At the beginning of his career, he used his stage name in order not to be overly perceived as the son of his famous father, the well-known chansonnier Louis Chedid. -M- is, however, even more to him: an artificial and stage figure which gives him artistic freedom. Behind this façade, he developed sensational live shows that have earned him superstar status in his home country.
